Registration is now open for children age 7-11 for the Exploring History Summer Camp at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University.
This year?s theme is ?Presidential Elections and Democracy: Caucuses, Candidates and Campaigns? and is tied to the ?Headed to the White House? exhibit on display through July 29 in the Bush Library and Museum?s Ansary Gallery of American History.
Daily themes and topics include Know Your Rights and Responsibilities!; Campaign Travels and Stump Speeches; Make a Difference: Inform Yourself; Be a Super Citizen! Get Involved!; and Your Vote, Your Voice.
Half-day camps are June 4-29 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.; full-day camps are July 9-Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Half-day camps are $ 100 per week, and full-day camps are $ 150 per week; daily rates and scholarships available.
